Project description: A translation of a book from Ukrainian to English in the genre of popular psychology is needed. The text is written in a lively, understandable language, without complex scientific terminology. I expect a translation that sounds natural to a native English speaker. Volume: About 147,000 characters with spaces (approximately 125,000 without spaces). Approximately 25,000–27,000 words or 90–100 pages (Times New Roman, 11 pt, 1.15 spacing). Translation requirements: 1. Preserve the author's style and psychological intonation of the text. 2. Correct, smooth English without calques and artificial constructions. 3. Using automatic tools (DeepL, ChatGPT, etc.) is allowed, but the translation must be carefully edited manually. 4. The text must be suitable for publication (Amazon Kindle, etc.). 5. File format – .docx or .txt. Preferred: – Experience in translating non-fiction or psychological literature. – Availability of a portfolio or translation samples. – Willingness to complete a test fragment (up to 1 page). Deadline: Approximately 2–4 weeks, can work in stages (for example, by chapters). Budget: Please indicate the price if it differs from mine.
